Today in Politics: Why the All-Party Meeting to Discuss Operation Sindoor is Important

New Delhi — Political leaders from various parties and ideologies are set to come together at an all-party meeting scheduled for Thursday to discuss Operation Sindoor. On Wednesday, the Congress Working Committee (CWC), the highest decision-making body within the party, declared its "full support" to the Indian Armed Forces, emphasizing the need for national unity in the current situation. Jairam Ramesh, the Congress Secretary in-charge of Communications, and Mallikarjun Kharge, the party president, urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to participate in the upcoming all-party meeting. Their call for the Prime Minister’s attendance reflects the importance of creating a united front for national security and ensuring the government's actions have broad political backing.
