Our prime minister inaugurates multiple projects in Varanasi, takes dig at opposition parties

Infrastructure: The inauguration of multiple roads, a cooking gas bottling plant, a milk processing unit, and a silk fabric printing facility for weavers. The foundation was also laid for the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) to bolster the textile sector

Healthcare and Education: The establishment of a new medical college and the National Centre of Ageing at Banaras Hindu University, aiming to improve medical education and geriatric care.

Sports and Culture: The inauguration of Phase-1 of the Sigra Sports Stadium and the District Rifle Shooting Range to promote sports facilities. Additionally, various development works around Sant Ravidas Janmasthali were completed, including the laying of the foundation stone for the Sant Ravidas Museum.

During the event, Prime Minister Modi emphasized the commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the residents of Kashi (Varanasi) and highlighted the transformative impact of these projects on the city's infrastructure and cultural landscape. ​

These developments reflect the government's focus on comprehensive growth, aiming to position Varanasi as a hub of cultural richness and modern infrastructure.
