New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday accused the INDIA bloc of shielding infiltrators under the guise of SIR protests and challenged the Opposition to dissolve state assemblies where they hold power if they doubt the Election Commission’s credibility. 

BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said Rahul Gandhi has made it a habit to cry “chor-chor” while leaders like him and RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav, both facing corruption charges, continue to question constitutional institutions. Patra further alleged that parties like Congress and Trinamool Congress are pushing the country towards chaos, comparing their politics to unrest in Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. His comments came after eight Opposition parties, including Congress, TMC, SP, DMK, and RJD, criticized Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, accusing him of attacking them instead of addressing their concerns.
