After the massive success of Kalki 2898 AD, all eyes are now on its sequel. Nag Ashwin recently revealed in a podcast that filming for Kalki 2 is expected to start by the end of 2025. He explained that coordinating the schedules of the lead actors and preparing some large-scale action sequences will take time. Alongside Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan will also play key roles in this epic film. Nag Ashwin added that post-production may take even longer than the filming itself, so fans may need to wait 2-3 years to witness this cinematic extravaganza. Santhosh Narayanan’s soundtrack and Ashwini Dutt’s production further elevate the grandeur of the project.
