Delhi Murder Case: Postmortem Rules Out Pregnancy, Drugging in Samaypur Badli Woman and 3 Daughters’ Death; Husband Prime Suspect

Postmortem Report Findings in Samaypur Badli Quadruple Murder

NEW DELHI: The postmortem examination of a woman and her three minor daughters, who were found murdered at their rented accommodation in northwest Delhi’s Samaypur Badli, was conducted on Friday, police said.

According to a senior officer, the autopsy report confirmed that the woman, identified as Anita, was not pregnant at the time of her death. The medical examination also ruled out the possibility that she or the children were drugged before the killings.

The bodies were discovered earlier this week inside their residence in the Chandan Park area.

Husband Munchun Kewat Named Prime Suspect

Police have identified Anita’s husband, Munchun Kewat, as the prime suspect in the case. Multiple teams have been dispatched to conduct raids in Rajasthan, Bihar, and other states to trace him.

Authorities said efforts are underway to track his movements and verify possible locations where he may be hiding.

Loan Angle Under Verification

When questioned about reports that the family had taken a loan of Rs 5 lakh, a senior officer said the claim is being verified as part of the ongoing investigation.

There were also unconfirmed reports suggesting that a shopkeeper — allegedly a friend of Kewat — was missing. However, police clarified that they currently have no information substantiating those claims.

How the Incident Came to Light

The tragic incident surfaced on Wednesday morning when a relative arrived at the residence and discovered the bodies. Neighbours were alerted, who then informed the police.

A team from the local police station reached the house and found Anita and her three daughters, aged between three and five years, lying lifeless on a bed.

The scene was secured, and forensic teams were called in to gather evidence.

Investigation Ongoing

Police officials stated that:
